What the self-test can do – and what it cannot

What it does

The test compares your answers with the pattern that typically occurs together in CMD: symptoms in the jaw, head, ears and neck, plus exhaustion and a long history without findings. The more of this comes together, the more worthwhile an examination becomes.

What it does not do

It is not a diagnosis. A questionnaire knows your answers, not your jaw system. Whether the cause lies there only becomes clear with a measurement – and an unremarkable result does not rule out CMD. If your symptoms persist, keep at it, with us or elsewhere.

What happens after the test

  1. You immediately see a first assessment and the area that is most prominent for you.
  2. If you like, give us a call. In a phone conversation we go through your answers together with you – it commits you to nothing.
  3. If the picture fits, the next step is the initial phone consultation. Only then is it decided whether a CMD Structural Analysis makes sense.

What happens to your answers
